I-CON 31 Announces Frazer Hines and Robert Axelrod

If you thought we were done with our second round of guest announcements, you'd be wrong. I-CON 31 has a little Friday surprise in store -- We're excited to announce two more additions to our roster of guests: Frazer Hines and Robert Axelrod.

Frazer Hines is a British actor best known for his roles as Jamie McCrimmon in the BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who, and Joe Sugden in Emmerdale Farm (later just Emmerdale).

Hines has recorded linking narration for many Second Doctor serials; the soundtracks, along with Hines' narration, have been released on CD by BBC Audio. He has also appeared in several of Big Finish's Doctor Who audio plays. Among his many theatre credits are twenty eight consecutive pantomimes in which he has played everything from Buttons to Fleshcreep. He is an accomplished after dinner speaker and co-owns a record company in Australia with his nephew Clive.

Robert Axelrod has appeared in over thirty feature films including four with Charles Bronson, the Sci-Fi hit remake The Blob with Kevin Dillon and many others. Television appearances include guest star roles on Amazing Stories, Star Trek Voyager, Tim And Eric’s Awesome Show, and The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. He also starred in the Michael Jackson music video Stranger in Moscow, and is in the soon-to-be-released horror dark comedy, The Revenant.

Mr. Axelrod is also a busy voice over artist. He is the voice of Lord Zedd and Finster on the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. He voiced Armadillomon and Wizardmon on Digimon, Microchip, The Punisher’s sidekick, on Spiderman, Rico on Robotech, and has voiced countless Anime features including Akira, The Big O, Cowboy Bebop, Brain Scratch, and others.
